This is an adorable basket.. the lining is a cute red and white gingham check that goes perfectly with ther basket.The issue is with the handle, it is not durable at all.. this is strictly for display.. do not try to use it for anything else.. the handle snapped on mine

I bought this to go with my Halloween costume this year. I’m going as Red Riding Hood and my husband is the Big Bad Wolf. I was hoping for something that wasn’t too bulky, but something I could also keep my “goodies” in (cell phone, wallet, etc..) since the costume itself has no pockets. I was a bit concerned reading the reviews that it might be a bit too big. It’s large enough to hold my entire family’s phones, but is certainly not too bulky to be carried around as a purse. You could even use it for a picnic for two!

This size is perfect when you want to give a gift as a gesture but don’t want to have to buy a lot of junk just to fill it up. Not too big but holds a few packages of cookies or candy (or a napkin-full of homemade), etc. I wish it came with the lining in different colors for other seasons. It also seems sturdy.

Bought for my daughter’s little red riding hood Halloween costume. Wanted something big enough for her to trick or treat with as the one as the Halloween store was tiny and cheaply made (she would have had to carry it and also use a separate bag for candy). This basket worked perfectly! She was able to collect her candy in it, and now I’m going to repurpose it to display Christmas cards or hold mail or some such task.

Before purchasing this basket, I wanted to know how large it was and in the reviews someone called it small but said it could hold 13 apples (which it can). My boyfriend and I went on a picnic with it and it held 2 Pringle’s cans, a small Goldfish crackers package, a Dr.Pepper, and a few other bags of candy. We did have to carry our bag of taco bell. It was not large enough for that. So it’s probably big enough for a picnic with 2 people if you package everything smaller which we were too lazy to do. We were just more concerned about how cool we felt with an actual picnic basket. It’s also the perfect size for a costume, it could definitely fit a small stuffed animal Toto or your other belongings on Halloween. It could also make a great decoration. So overall, 5/5 stars. Kind of tiny, but I knew that from the other reviews. Still very useful.
