Very soft and warm. Huge upgrade from my roll up blue pad. I’m 275lbs and slept great every night even on my side. Also works to sit on around the fire. Even layed it out on the slippery rocks around the Colorado River to have a nonslip place to dress and dry off. It’s very multifunctional so strap it under your pack and you won’t even notice it’s there until you bust it out.
