About Me.Mother EarthWe are a husband and wife team local to Las Vegas, Alberto is originally from Rio, Brazil and myself, Amanda grew up in Washington state. We started this company with a collapsible straw kit, as big travelers ourselves, we wanted to create something that was convenient enough to bring everywhere and begin to eliminate single-use plastic in our daily lives. For a lot of people, it starts with a straw (our kit also includes a spork!) and we LOVE working craft fairs, markets and events to get the opportunity to talk face to face with people about the importance of making simple swaps everyday and reduce our impact on the environment. It affects all of us.
We have expanded to include a large array of products (and we are growing!!) that simplify our lives and reduce plastic waste— especially with products we use everyday.
We are not experts at plastic-free & sustainable living and face the same challenges that everyone else does, but we are SO incredibly passionate about our Mother Earth, learning more, and educating those around us. We live the lifestyle as best we can and we are learning everyday. We donate to ocean conservation and other environmental organizations too- Let’s make some real change together!

These are great covers to put on bowls for the fridge. They only work for round (or nearly round) bowls and don’t fit every size of bowl, but I have used them a lot. They are easy to put on and take off and very easy to clean.

Excellent for preserving any perishable foods like lettuce, cucumber, melon, meat.. They seal the product in so well to retain moisture and extends product life. Very important product in this age of ‘needing to reduce waste’.

I’ve found these really useful and saved a lot of disposable covering (clingfilm and foil) in the six weeks or so I’ve had them. There’s a good range of sizes to cover most things, although there isn’t one quite big enough for a full-size dinner plate.
They can be a bit tricky to fit if you need to stretch them a lot – sometimes one can be too tight and the next size up too loose, depending on what you’re covering – but generally I’m not that bothered for a watertight seal, and I slightly loose cover is quite adequate for a bowl of leftovers in the fridge overnight!

I am a bit worried about stretching and ripping silicone lids food covers too much when I tried these first time. The fact is that they seem to love being stretched and do a great job of sealing. So they can replace the airtight jar completely.
They are really good on plates, bowls, and pans. If you choose the correct size of the cover, nothing leaks. The color is nice, I liked that the package included 2 different colors of each size which means I can use 1 color purely for meat products. Stretchy food lids without smell. love the fact that I can pop them in the dishwasher too.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend these to my friends and family, especially when I trying to reduce the use of cling film.
